SOME OF THE TRAININGS WE OFFER:

• Free Basic Life Support/CPR Certification Class - After completing this 3 hour course, you will receive your CPR certification.

• Alzheimer’s Training - Learn how to care for clients suffering from Alzheimer’s through this hands on training with the Alzheimer’s Association.

• LGBTQ+ Cultural Sensitivity Training - In collaboration with the OUT Alliance, home care workers are trained on the health challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ clients and how we can provide better care to this community

• Cooking Classes for Home Care Workers - Free cooking classes for home care workers at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute! Learn important cooking skills and how to prepare healthy, delicious meals for your clients. Classes include training on knife skills, how to season properly, and cook West Indian, Mexican, Asian, and Greek food!

• Caring for Patients with Mental Health Diagnosis - This class helps caregivers understand common mental health issues, such as Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorders, anxiety and personal disorders and trains you on how to provide better care to your patients.
